Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd gained confidence after this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated in the 1st round. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd rebounded from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via one-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen move up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen continued to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimity. Her UFC debut took place in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina by using her ground and pound techniques and earned a TKO second-round victory. She continued to dominate and got a bigger win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the opening round, she was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's ever had in any significant capacity. Both fighters put up an intense battle that concluded with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter getting the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. In the third round of UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her recent fight for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
