Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe comes from a multi-cultural household. Born in South London. The father of her is Nigerian as well as Swiss and her mother is English. She was lived in a housing estate run by the council in the south of London. At the age fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was earned. Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress who was raised in a big family. She was the daughter of Patty and Roy Leggat. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty and her other siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's four brothers, all very athletic, played hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summer, so she basically grew up in parks and arenas. Ashley did not have the ability to walk but she was able to dance. As she was two and a half, she took up Baby Ballet and fell in love. Ashley was enthralled by dance following this. Ashley continued to compete through high school graduation, with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop, and much more. In addition, she won best soloist awards at all important dance competitions including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
